About

By profession, I am a Researcher in the Department of Forest Resources at the University of Minnesota. I get to travel across northern Minnesota and experience some of the state's greatest remote ecosystems. I also spend much of my free time outdoors, foraging, gardening, exploring, and photographing. My passion for photography stems from my fascination of the intricacies of the natural world from the behavior of a songbird to the structure of a flower or the patterns of the wind. After three years of self-taught wildlife photography, it's time I start sharing my passion with you.
